Calendula, aka Pot Mairgold (Calendula officinalis)

Calendula, aka Pot Mairgold (Calendula officinalis)

$4.00

Easy to grow annual flowers, also known as pot marigolds.  Does well in full sun to partial shade.  Edible, daisy-like bright yellow to deep orange flowers with a long bloom period.

Sun: Grow calendula in a spot with full sun. While calendula will tolerate partial shade, it will grow leggy and won't be as lush

Soil: Calendula is tolerant of ordinary soil, yet prefers rich, nutritious organic soil.

Water: Give your calendulas 1 to 1 1/2 inches of water once a week during hot weather.

Zones: 2 to 11.

Height/Spread:  Calendula grows to 1 to 2 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide.
