Gooseberry "Pixwell" (Ribes uva-crispa) *Multiple Sizes Available*

Deciduous shrub with thorny branches, grown for its edible berries. Translucent berries are red or green, depending on the variety.  Berries have a sweet flesh and tart skin. Pixwell is a great flavor but has a good amount of thorns. Keeps you honest when picking.

Sun: Grows well in full sun to part sun, in protected locations.

Soil: Decent soil.

Water: Moderate water use. Can reduce by heavy mulch

Zone: 4 to 8.

Height/Spread: 2 to 5 feet. Spreads by runners as well as layering itself upon ground contact.
