Multi-stemmed shrub/small tree grows well in most soils.  Small green leaves.  Showy white flowers in spring lead to small reddish-purple berries.  Berries can be eaten fresh or cooked.  Foliage turns orange to yellow in fall.

Sun: Full sun or partial shade. 

Soil: Acidic, moist, and well-drained soils.

Water: Serviceberries need enough water to keep the soil moist but not over-watered.

Zones: 2 to 7.

Height/Spread: Serviceberry usually grows to between 10 and 25 feet tall and 10 to 15 feet wide.
