Tea Tree Camillia (Camellia sinensis)

Tea Tree Camillia (Camellia sinensis)
Grow your tea! It is easy! Pick small new growth leaves to get white tea; pick larger new growth to get green tea. Cure that, and you get black tea!
KOREAN TEA SEEDLING (Camellia sinensis) - Hardy and productive from the mountains of the Boseong region in South Korea.
Sun: Tea Tree Camellia will perform well in areas in bright light or full sun. Full morning sun exposure with afternoon shade cast by a building is fine; dappled shade from tree cover is even better.
Soil: Tea Tree Camellia likes well-drained and sandy soil that is acidic, pH 5.5-6.5.
Water: Tea plants are not drought tolerant, but they don’t like boggy conditions, either. Root rot can happen in wet clay soil.
Zones: 6 to 9.
Height/Spread: Assuming you pick it, it will bush out to 3 to 5-foot shrub. If you just let it grow, it can get 10 feet tall and wide.
